Karla is a junior at Little Red Elizabeth Irwin High School in New York City. Being passionate about feminism, social justice and science and technology, Karla joined GirlsWhoCode because she believes that it's important to close the gender gap in STEM fields.
May Yang is a senior at Ardsley High School. She joined GirlsWhoCode this summer because she is really interested in using technology to solve social injustices that she is passionate about, such as feminism. Some of May's hobbies include chemistry, travel, reading, and graphic design.
Maeve Miller currently attends Hunter College High School and will be going into her junior year in the fall of 2015. She has always found technology fascinating and the idea of websites and software just being a bunch of zeros and ones has always baffled her. Besides computer science, Maeve also loves music, theater, and food!!
